designer is a lens through which I see the world

Enabling one to stay in the present through experiences that flow seamlessly is one of my biggest joys, both as a UI designer and a creative human who loves hosting events.

I’m an extrovert who is chatty in grocery lines but cherishes the deep focus of silent alone time.

Place has always been the central, unifying theme in my work. I spent years traveling a lot and living out of a backpack in Latin America, to discover what I really wanted more than anything was a home base with deep roots. I landed back on my native east coast, became a Virginian, and plan to stay awhile. Currently, I’m working on building a place-based project deeper in the mountains.
